Defense Finance and Accounting Service Acquisition strategy for a Joint Accounting System Initiative

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to assess the development and implementation of an accounting system by DFAS. Specifically, we reviewed the accuracy and completeness of the mission needs statement. We also reviewed management controls as they related to the objective.
