Functional Transfer of Navy Base Communications Offices

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the consolidation of base communications offices. Specifically, we evaluated how effectively the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Command executed mission requirements. We also evaluated how efficiently the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Command transferred base communications offices from various Navy commands into its claimancy. We also reviewed the applicable management control program as it related to the overall objective.
