Year 1-3 Demonstration Manufacturing

Abstract

The purpose of this project was to demonstrate minimizing system-wide inventories of end-of tariff long sleeved men's dress shirts for Parris Island by using VPV and CARGOES to manufacture a level quantity of 100 shirts per week. Manufacturing emphasis was on maximizing automation to minimize costs.
