DOD Interim Federal Acquisition Computer Network Certifications

Abstract

The primary audit objective was to determine whether the process that DoD uses to issue interim FACNET certifications is adequate. The specific objectives were to determine whether the interim certifications are supported with required documentation and whether organizations that have received interim certification have the required software and are capable of performing the FACNET transactions. We also examined the management control program as it applied to the audit objectives.
