Centrally Managed Allotment System in the Reserve Components

Abstract

The primary audit objective was to review the centrally managed allotment system and its impact on appropriations for Reserve pay. We also identified the potential impact of implementing a decentralized allotment system. Although we did not evaluate the management control program as applicable to the audit objective, we identified a material management control weakness.
