A High Resolution Four-Dimensional Imaging Measurement System to Investigate Molecular Mixing in Gaseous Turbulent Shear Flows
Abstract
A state-of-the-art two-frequency cross-polarized Rayleigh imaging system was assembled to allow the first fully-resolved four-dimensional (three space dimensions plus time) non-invasive measurements of conserved scalar mixing in a gaseous turbulent shear flow.
