Defense Base Realignment and Closure Budget Data for the Realignment of Five Navy Activities from Leased Space in Arlington, Virginia, to the Naval Security Station, Washington, D.C.

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to determine the accuracy of Defense base realignment and closure military construction budget data. This report provides the results of the audit of one project, valued at $14.6 million, for the realignment of five Navy activities from leased space in Arlington, Virginia, to an existing facility at the Naval Security Station, Washington, D.C. Those activities are the Strategic Systems Programs Office, the International Programs Office, the Office of Civilian Personnel Management, the Naval Audit Service, and the Naval Center for Cost Analysis.
