Management and Administration of the United States Air Force Academy

Abstract

The audit objectives were to determine whether the operations of the United States Air Force Academy (Academy) were within the intent and scope of United States Code, title 10, and DoD guidance; to evaluate the economy and efficiency of the operations of the Academy; and to follow up on recommendations in Inspector General, DoD, Audit Report No. 94-002, "Noninstructional Military Positions at the United States Air Force Academy," October 15, 1993. The audit also evaluated the effectiveness of applicable management controls at the Academy.
