Abstract

This volume of Farming, Fishery, Forestry and Related Occupations Standard Time Data is one of ten volumes of standard time data in the 11 volume series included in DWNSTDP. Farming, Fishery, Forestry and Related Occupations as categorized by the Department of labor includes those occupations concerned with growing, harvesting, catching and gathering land and aquatic plant and animal life and the products thereof; and occupations concerned with providing services in support of these activities. This volume provides a single DOD source for Standard Time Data which can be used in the development of labor standards for: Organizations, activities, or functional areas whose primary missions correlate to Farming, Fishery, Forestry and Related Occupations, e.g., an activity whose primary responsibility is groundkeeping, gardening, logging, farming, etc. For Farming, Fishery, Forestry and Related occupations within organizations, activities, or functional areas engaged in other than Farming, Fishery, Forestry and Related occupations; e.g., A groundskeeper assigned to a construction operation. Work performed by personnel whose primary jobs are other than farming, fishery, forestry, and related occupations, but who may actually do that type work as a part of their jobs: e.g., an ammunition handler performing groundskeeping duties within an ammunition ammunition depot.
