A Mathematical Model of a Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic Cell, I

Abstract

A mathematical model for transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell has been constructed. The model estimates the electric field inside rectangular or flared TEM cells driven by a wideband electromagnetic current pulse. The finite difference time domain (FDTD) approach is used.
