Defense Base Realignment and Closure Budget Data for the Closure of Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii, and Realignment to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to determine the accuracy of Defense base realignment and closure military construction budget data. This report provides the results of the audit of two projects, valued at $5.9 million, for the closure of Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii, and realignment to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. This audit also assessed the adequacy of the management control program as it applied to the audit objective.
