Year 2000 Higher Level Testing Schedule Data Reported to DOD

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to determine whether DoD mission critical systems are being appropriately scheduled for higher level year 2000 testing. Specifically, the audit compared the inventory of mission critical systems to the list of systems scheduled for higher level testing and assessed the controls for assuring compliance with statutory and DoD Year 2000 Management Plan requirements. This audit did not address 365 intelligence or special operations systems, which are being reviewed separately.
