Abstract

The Operation and Maintenance appropriation finances the flying and maintenance of Air National Guard mission related aircraft, as well as civilian personnel, including military technicians, who carry on the day to day training, maintenance, and administration of the ANG. These funds also provide the facilities, equipment, and staffing needed to train, equip., and support an Air National Guard force at a level of combat readiness that enables it to immediately assimilate into the active Air Force and to be capable of conducting independt operations in accordance with unit wartime taskings.
