Navy Proposed Follow-On Research and Development Contract for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.

Abstract

This report is the first of two reports from our ongoing audit of the Navy research and development contract for the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (the Applied Physics Lab) (Project No. 4CH-50O6.O1). This report discusses the Navy's planned noncompetitive award of a 1-year task order contract with two 1-year options to be effective after the existing contract with the Applied Physics Lab expires on September 30, 1994. The total value of the proposed contract, including the option years, is $1.2 billion.
