Management Data Used to Manage the U.S. Transportation Command and the Military Department Transportation Organizations

Abstract

The overall objective of the audit was to determine whether critical management data were available and accurate, and whether managers received the data they needed in order to operate, evaluate, and make major financial and nonfinancial decisions. We also evaluated the reliability and usefulness of critical financial and performance data. As part of the audit, we examined associated internal controls.
