Defense Base Realignment and Closure Budget Data for Naval Air Stations Dallas, Texas, and Memphis, Tennessee, Realigning to Carswell Air Reserve Base, Texas

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to determine the accuracy of Defense base realignment and closure military construction budget data for the proposed projects. This report provides the results of the audit of 16 projects, valued at $122 million, for the realignment of the Naval Air Stations Memphis, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas, to Carswell Air Reserve Base, Texas. The audit also reviewed the adequacy of management's implementation of the DoD Internal Management Control Program and applicable internal controls.
