Acquisition of the Advanced Field Artillery System

Abstract

The audit objective was to evaluate the acquisition management of the AFAS Program regarding program management elements critical for a system in the Concept Exploration/Definition phase of the acquisition cycle. We also evaluated the adequacy of internal controls related to the program management elements.
