Defense Base Realignment and Closure Budget Data for the Defense Contract Management District-West

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to determine the accuracy of Defense base realignment and closure military construction budget data. This report provides the results of the audit of the Defense Logistics Agency 5 budget data for a project valued at $14.3 million to relocate the Defense Contract Management District-West, El Segundo, California, to the Long Beach Naval Shipyard, Long Beach, California. The audit also evaluated the implementation of the DoD Internal Management Control Program and assessed the adequacy of applicable internal controls.
