Warranties for the Navy F-404 Jet Aircraft Engine

Abstract

We are providing this report for your information and use. This report resulted from our Audit of Jet Aircraft Engine Durability (Project No. 3LB-3007). It discusses the Navy's efforts to invoke the provisions of the F-404 jet aircraft engine's warranties. Comments from the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) on a draft of this report were considered in preparing this fmal report. The comments conformed to the requirements of DoD Directive 7650.3 and there are no unresolved issues. Therefore, no additional comments are required.
