DOD Acquisition Workforce Reduction Trends and Impacts

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to review the trends of DoD acquisition workforce and workload reductions and to evaluate the potential impact of further acquisition and support workforce reductions on the DoD ability to support acquisition workload requirements. To accomplish the objective, we interviewed and collected information from senior personnel at 14 acquisition organizations.
