Quick-Reaction Report on the Construction of a New Distribution Operations Center at the Red River Depot

Abstract

This report is being issued as part of our Audit of FY 1993 Financial Statements for the Distribution Depots - Defense Logistics Agency Business Area of the Defense Business Operations Fund (Project No.2LD-2022). The report states that the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) could achieve savings of $58 million by reversing its decision to construct a distribution operations center at the Red River Depot.
