Defense Base Closure and Realignment Budget Data for Williams Air Force Base, Arizona

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to evaluate significant increases in base realignment and closure military construction project costs over the estimated costs provided to the Commission. This report provides the results of the audit of two projects valued at $6.5 million related to the realignment of the Armstrong Laboratory Simulator Research Facility (the Laboratory), Williams Air Force Base (AFB), Chandler, Arizona, to the Central Florida Research Park, Orlando, Florida, and the realignment of the Plastic Media Blast Module (the Module), Williams AFB, to Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas.
