Abstract

The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) establishes guidance for Executive agency procurement and contract administration missions. Contract and grant closeout is a function of contract administration. This report presents the results of audits conducted by the Inspectors General in the Departments of Defense (DoD), Commerce (Doc), Education (DOED), and State (DoS); and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The results of the General Accounting Office (GAO) audit of the Agency for International Development (AID) are also included.
