On the Calculation of the 1.P Oscillating Aerodynamic Loads on Single-Rotation Propellers in Pitch on Tractor Airplanes

Abstract

A simplified procedure has been developed to calculate the l-P oscillating aerodynamic thrust loads on single-rotation propellers in pitch at zero yaw on tractor airplanes. The application of this procedure requires only a knowledge of the upflow angles at the horizontal center line of the propeller disk.
