F/A-18 E/F Program as a Part of the Audit of the Effectiveness of the Defense Acquisition Board Review Process -- FY 1992

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to evaluate the DAB review process for the acquisition of F/A-l8 E/F aircraft. Specifically, we assessed the adequacy of the information the Military Departments and the Defense agencies provided to the DAB in support of the major milestone and program reviews and assessed compliance with DoD acquisition policy and compliance with the intent of congressional direction.
