Operational Test and Evaluation of Nonmajor Systems.

Abstract

Operational Test and Evaluation is the field testing of equipment or munitions to ensure that only operationally effective and suitable systems are delivered to the operating forces. Nonmajor Defense Acquisition Programs (nonmajor systems) are those systems for which Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funding is less than $300 million and procurement funding is less than $1.8 billion (1990 constant dollars).
