Abstract

The Director, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), established the administrative (nonstatutory) Office of Inspector General (OIG) in 1991. The OIG, DIA, conducts independent audits, inspections, and investigations of DIA programs that are critically linked to national security. The Director, DIA, requested a review of the OIG, DIA, because of complaints to him regarding various aspects of the OIG, DIA, working environment.
