Feasibility of Investigating Whether There is a Relationship Between Birth Defects and Serice in the Gulf War.

Abstract

Regarding CBDMP's study to determine the feasibility of whether congenital anomalies can be identified among Gulf War veterans during the past year, little progress has been made. Specifically, in the past year, CBDMP obtained permission from the Army HSRRB but has gone back and forth with the Defense Data Manpower Center in Monterey, California to obtain the most current tapes needed to begin this project. It was not until the first part of June 1998 that the latest version of these tapes was received.
