An Introduction to a Feedforward Demodulator

Abstract

An introduction is given to the Reconstituted FM with Feedforward (RFF) demodulator, U.S. Patent 6,002,298. This report provides the necessary background and motivation for conducting further research regarding the performance and application of this angle-demodulation technique. A comparison is made between this new technique and a standard method of angle-dernodulation by simulating a specific input signal scenario. Areas requiring further research are cited.
