Wetlands Created for Dredged Material Stabilization and Wildlife Habitat in moderate to High Wave-Energy Environments
Abstract
This note describes successful techniques for developing marsh on dredged material in moderate to high wave-energy environments defined below for habitat creation and substrate stabilization. Marsh creation is often much more economical and practical for dredged material stabilization than the more conventional riprap or revetment methods.
