Atomistic Modeling of SiC Fiber Composites

Abstract

This is the final Report of a three-year grant the goal of which was to develop an atomistic simulation approach toward the modeling of structural, thermal and mechanical behavior of SiC fiber composites. The Report contains an Executive Summary, a description of research highlights, a list of the 26 publications which resulted from the project, a list of the participating personnel, and an appendix consisting of three extended summaries presented at the annual program reviews each of the three years.
