IBSS Low Light Level Television Baffle Design

Abstract

This report describes the design and construction process for the IBSS Low Light Level Television camera baffles. IBSS is short for Infrared Background Signature Survey, a space shuttle experiment. This design was done as a result of an earlie design that did not conform to the required specifications for off-axis radiation rejection. The description of the design process is followed by a description of the improvements made to increase the performance of the baffles.
