National Security Strategy: Basis for the Making of Defense Policy in the Republic of Venezuela

Abstract

This paper is related to the study and analysis of the most important issues of the Defense Policy in the Republic of Venezuela. Its main purpose is to determine whether or not a Defense Policy exists; if so, how it can be implemented, how it can be developed, and finally, to establish the basis for the making of a responsible, coherent, organized, and lasting Defense Policy in Venezuela. Some conclusions have been drawn in order to complement the context of this study.
