Spectral Processing on Wavelength Encoded Signals in Semiconductor Laser Amplifiers

Abstract

BER measurements at 2.5 Gbit/s on wavelength converted signals using double pump FWM in a semiconductor optical amplifier have been performed experimentally for both single- and multiple-input wavelengths. These results were presented at an OSA sponsored conference entitled: Advanced Semiconductor Lasers and their applications" and the results have appeared in print in Trends in Optics and Photonics.
