General Aviation and Air Taxi Activity Survey

Abstract

This report presents the results of the annual General Aviation and Air Taxi Activity Survey. The survey is conducted by the FAA to obtain information on the activity of the United States registered general aviation - and air taxi aircraft fleet. The report contains tabulations of active aircraft, annual flight hours, average flight hours, and other statistics by aircraft type, state and region of based aircraft, and use. Also included are file: consumption, lifetime airframe hours, estimates of the number of landings, and IFR hours flown.
