Abstract

This is Volume II of a two-volume manual. Volume I (Reference Manual) is published under separate cover as TR 99-05. Volume II (User's Manual) presents an introduction to training evaluation and a roadmap to the more in-depth content of Volume I. Objectives of the manual are to (1) provide guidance to help analysts design meaningful training effectiveness evaluations, (2) describe procedures for alternative methods of conducting training effectiveness evaluations, and (3) provide examples of training effectiveness evaluations that may be used as models to emulate.
