Supervisor Refresher: Safety Training Course

Abstract

This manual addresses the various duties of a supervisor in maintaining a safe and productive workplace. It is part of a supervisor's job to operate an activity safely. The responsibility is two-fold; it is an established written responsibility assigned by higher levels of management, and it is a moral obligation owed to subordinates. Failure to heed hazards and comply to standards is not only a moral failure, but may also have legal implications.
