Treatability Study for Thermatrix Flameless Thermal Oxidation

Abstract

This document summarizes the results of a treatability study of the Thermatrix Flameless Thermal Oxidation technology for the treatment of VOCs in soil vapor extraction (SVE) offgas. The treatability study was conducted at the SVE and offgas cat-ox treatment system in OU Cl at McClellan AFB. This work was conducted in cooperation with the Public Partnership, Clean Sites, and the U.S. EPA Technology Innovation Office and Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation Program.
