The domain of CSE includes scientific and technical knowledge and data concerning human characteristics, abilities, limitations, physiological needs, performance, body dimensions, biomedical dynamics, strength and tolerances. It also encompasses engineering and design data concerning equipment intended to he used, operated, or controlled by crew members.
