Abstract

The factors determining oxygen consumption and CO2 production of men during various tasks on Earth is covered in the first part of this Compendium, followed by data for zero gravity and subgravity environments. The second part covers the effects of the oxygen and carbon dioxide partial pressure environments on human physiology and performance in space operations.
