Acquisition Workforce Decision Support System (ACQDSS) Interim Capability. Functional Descripton, System Specification, and User's Guide

Abstract

The Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requires the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics) (USDAT&L) to provide oversight of the acquisition workforce and to ensure compliance with the law. The Acquisition Workforce Decision Support System (ACQDSS) provides an enhanced capability for DoD to effectively manage the acquisition workforce as outlined by DAWIA and other provisions of law and policy. This report documents the functional and technical requirements, explains how to use the system including sample situations, and recommends further enhancements.
