DURIP99 Individual Differences in Visual Cognition
Abstract
Our research using positron emission tomography (PET) has revealed the brain regions that are selectively activated by specific tasks developed to assess various visual-spatial abilities. We have also been obtaining convergent evidence showing that when activity in those areas is inhibited by Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), so is performance on the relevant tasks.
