Phosphorus Loading from the Redwood River Basin: Fractionation of Labile and Refractory Components

Abstract

The purpose of this demonstration effort was to quantify loading of labile and refractory phosphorus fractions from the agriculturally dominated Redwood River Basin, which drains into the Minnesota River. This information will be important for future calibration and verification of watershed models that forecast the impacts of best management practices (BMP's) on water quality and runoff.
