FLIGHTFAX: Army Aviation Risk-Management Information. Volume 29, Number 2

Abstract

Providing safe customer support is the focus of all goals within the fixed wing community whether we are transporting commanders and staff or conducting intelligence gathering operations. Aviators must always be aware of the capabilities of the equipment they operate, the limitations of the mission (which might be imposed by the environment), and their own limitations as part of the aircrew. As we identify these risks and then implement operating procedures to mitigate them we continue to protect our assets and support safe operations within Army aviation.
