On Web-Based Models and Repositories

Abstract

This document contains a description of research performed at the University of Florida on the concept and implementation of web-based models and repositories. The document is divided into three sections. The first section briefly presents an overview of the contract; what was accomplished, why certain areas were pursued, and how those efforts contribute to the field of modeling, in particular, and computer simulation, more generally. The second section represents papers published by the research group; while the final section is comprised of classic readings that bear a relation to this project and to the philosophical foundations behind it.
