QLM/Local at Fort Leonard Wood

Abstract

This paper presents a summary of the results of the Apparel Research Network's (ARN) installation of the Quality Logistics Management (QLM)/Local wholesale local inventory management system at the Recruit Training Center (RTC), Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. The system implementation enabled the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to convert the recruit clothing inventory at the Clothing Initial Issue Points (CIIPS) from retail to wholesale-managed assets.
