Strategic Force Planning Support Program

Abstract

The Statement of Work describes a series of long term tasks and quick reaction analytical capabilities which represented DNA assessment and analysis mission support for designated offices at the Unified and specified ClNCs, CJCS, OSD, and services. This work involved technical analyses on issues directly related to the strategic forces. The proliferation of missile delivery systems, nuclear technologies and other Nuclear Biological Chemical (NBC) relevant technologies, coupled with the political instability inherent in the collapse of the Cold War International System, resulted in a less certain, more dangerous world. The tasks were the minimum necessary to meet current and emerging requirements for Strategic Force Planning evaluation, assessment and development of potential improvements that addressed the uncertainty of the future.
