Segmenting Polarimetric SAR Images Using Robust Competitive Clustering

Abstract

Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (POLSAR) Images have great potential for land-use management, provided the images can he efficiently segmented. This paper describes the application of the robust competitive agglomeration (RCA) clustering algorithm to POLSAR images to segment the images. Examples are presented and future efforts are discussed.
