Eagle View

Abstract

The objectives of the Eagle View research were to develop and test new user interfaces concepts for integrated logistics information within the Wing Operations Center (WOC), investigate the use of maintenance and logistics objects to represent the current status and capability of the wing logistics system, and provide this information to decision makers in a more easily used format. Information retrieval and presentation concepts were developed. The Integrated Model Development Environment was then used to store, call, control, and manipulate the various objects required to support and provide the required information. The Eagle View effort successfully demonstrated the capabilities and potential of an interactive wing level logistics management and planning tool.
