Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Memorandum of Policy No. 30 (CMOP); Command and Control Warfare

Abstract

This Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Memorandum of policy (MOP) changes the terms "Command, Control and Communications Countermeasures" to Command and Control Warfare (C2W) It incorporates the term "Electronic Warfare" and integrates Psychological Operations (PSYOP) as one of the five principal military actions supporting C2W. IT focuses C2W on warfighting. It requires CinCs to integrate C2W into exercises, plans and orders, and requires them to address all aspects of C2W.
